Hi! My name is Laura. I was born on March 30th, 1985, making me almost 20 years old. I was born on LongIsland and currently reside in Suffolk County and STILL HERE, despite every fight I had as a teenager with my mom that ended in “I’m so out of here when I’m 18!!”. You say stupid things when you’re young and you realize how wrong they are when reality bites you in the bum as you enter adulthood. I attended Dowling College for a semester but took time off to focus on getting a car and working full time for a bit to raise some money. I drive a 1995 Acura Integra and I love it, it's been my dream car since I was 16. When I return to school, I will be a sociology major and a psychology minor,(with an emphasis on family and youth studies). or perhaps early childhood education, we shall see!! I’m still not completely sure what I want to do with my life. But discovering yourself is what going to school is all about. I do know that I want to help people, especially young people, in some way. Right now, I work at Tutor Time in the infant room and I love everything about it. Seeing the babies brighten up my day.. like shinning stars in the sky!! =P

I am a very lucky girl, because my best friend in the whole world also happens to be my boyfriend, Mark. Mark and I met when I was a Junior in Highschool through mutual friends at a party one night. We officially became a couple on May 10th, 2002. We have been together ever since. That is almost three years of smiles, tears, laughs and memories. No one gave us a chance at lasting, and I'm so happy that we proved them wrong. He is my one and only.

I have had basically the same group of friends for a long time; well, at least for the last 6 years. I have met alot of new friends along the way from graduating highschool, and I would not trade any of them for the world...I can't imagine my life without every single one of them.

This is another locked journal, so if you would like to be added, please comment. This journal is a reflection of who I am. It is normally about my daily life, with tons of pictures and rants along the way. It is a peek into the world of a 20-something (who is some days a girl, some days a woman), and the obstacles, joys, laughs and tears she faces along the way.

My previous livejournal username was Blinkberry57 .. I've had that journal since 2000, although I have no desire to delete it-I feel that I have done so much changing since then. So I wanted to have a clean fresh start with this one. Thankyou for your time.
